THE UTILIZATION OF THE SEA BUCKTHORN IN ROMANIA, PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE

The great botanist seems to be its godfather, Hippophae rhamnoides has two significations. Now, because it has a positive signification is accepted the etymology from Greek words: horse and shine. Romanian specialists demonstrate the influence of sea buckthorn which induces health for all animals, externalized in the aspect of their skin. The second signification is also from Greek, horse and poison, this is reflected in occidental Europe tradition.
